I was gonna give my friend my old skates that were too big and then I remembered that they had ceramic bearings and I was like oh no! But then I remembered that I have a bearing press! So I popped out the ABEC5’s that came with some other wheels I got and swapped em! Not only was it way faster and easier than I thought it would be; but I low-key had fun
This might be BY FAR the best tool I’ve used working on my skates. Turns the difficult task of removing bearings into a therapeutic and joyful experience. So glad I decided to take the leap with this one.
Just used the Bont Bearings Press for the first time tonight and was to remove and install bearings no problem. I really prefer using the bearings press vs wedging the bearings out with a skate tool because there's less torque and stress on the bearings, protecting them from damage
If you’re using 125 wheels with metal hubs this is an essential tool for installing and removing bearings . Makes installation and removal a snap and saves your wheels and bearings from damage . Highly recommended!
Cleaning bearings got 100% easier with this tool. It is so easy (and satisfying) to remove/add bearings from/to wheels. As advertised, works for wheel sizes up to 125mm.
I've had trouble in the past getting the wheels to spin as they should after putting cleaned or new bearings back in the wheels. This tool makes this task easy and the wheels spin perfectly.
Shopping from Bont website was super fast and convenient. The Bont bearing press is awesome and their skate bag is great. Thanks for the 10% discount too!
I don’t skate enough to put that much wear and tear on my bearings, but I do swap wheels for different surfaces and occasions. So, I bought the large press for about the same cost as an extra set of bearings, and it makes pulling them from one set of wheels and installing them into another so much easier. The large (gold) press will handle both quad and inline wheels, if you’re someone who has both types of skates.
This is hands down the best bearing press on the market for bigger inline skate wheels. Our company, Endless Blading, uses these to assemble our wheels for customers. I loved it so much I decided to purchase a second one.
