This is one of those things that is easy to overlook. Yes, you need a couple of these as backup to the fantastic Bont Bearing Press, because you don't know when or if the tip is going to break off. If you have these little beauties, you will hardly miss a beat.

It was a little tough to screw in the socket but the sharper new tip helped remove the bearings from Scooter wheels much easier. Very happy that removing bearings is much easier now.

When you buy your press, whether it is the 125mm Inline Skate Bearing press or the Roller Skate Bearing Press, may I recommend adding two or three Replacement Skate Bearing Press Puller Tips, for the heavy use that mine has received to date? The original tip has held up exceptionally well. But if it fails, your local hardware store will not have a suitable replacement. Too, I am not saying that it will break... You never know. I hope that I will not need them, but if the need should ever come up. Bob's your uncle.
