The Bont Ceramic inline speed skating racing bearings are back and better than ever!

In collaboration with JESA, one of Switzerland’s best speciality bearing manufacturers, we have created the best inline speed skating racing bearing. In other words, Bont Ceramics are lighter, have extended durability, and are more precisely round in comparison with the best steel ball bearings. Above all, this results in faster speeds. Made in Switzerland, Bont ceramic bearings have incredibly precise balls and lightweight plastic cages, which produce less friction and drag. Ceramics are harder than steel bearings, which means they last longer with a reduced risk of bearing seizure. Additionally, the ceramic balls generate less heat and offer considerable weight benefits.

Under load, bearings flex, thus reducing your speed. The Bont ceramic bearing outer race is made with high-grade steel to limit the bearings flex while you skate. The inner race receives a polish in both directions. An extra step that we take while making the bearings to maximize speed.

So I was falsely under the impression that good steel bearings were good enough and that Swiss ceramic bearings would perform similarly but last longer...I was wrong! These ceramic bearings added almost 3-5mph to my average speed, no joking! The decreasing grades were ridiculously faster and the increasing grades had noticeable longer coasts. I highly, highly recommend these bearings over any steel bearings you've been using.

These new bearings are installed in my new 125mm RedMagic wheels. Everyone knows “the legs feed the wolf”. The wolf will eat better with a ceramic bearings upgrade😃. Jesa 608 Ceramic Inline Skate Bearings

Is it possible to develop an addiction to a bearing? I like these bearings so much that I have been swapping them into the wheel de jour it just takes a few minutes, and any wheel you put these in seems to become your new favorite. They are super smooth and quiet. To me, they are worth every penny and are so well-made that they will last for a long time. There is a short learning curve to cleaning them. They seem to get better every time I use them.
