The Royal Assassin Indoor UV Wheel takes everything skaters love about our legendary urethane and adds a glowing twist. Designed for indoor speed, derby, jam, and session skating, this wheel glows in the dark after being charged by light, and it shines brilliantly under UV blacklight. Available in multiple sizes, it blends high-performance racing DNA with a visual effect that turns every session into an experience.
UV-reactive urethane glows in the dark or under blacklight
Charges with sunlight or artificial light for a lasting glow (about 30 minutes per charge)
Gravity-poured Corey urethane for unmatched rebound, grip, and durability
Aircraft-grade 6061 aluminum hub for precision and responsiveness
Unique groove design eliminates break-in time for instant performance
Unlike mass-produced wheels, the Royal Assassin Indoor UV Wheel features a premium urethane formula developed by renowned urethane expert Scott Corey. This exotic urethane delivers exceptional rebound, grip, and durability, giving skaters the competitive edge on every push.
Each wheel is gravity poured, ensuring consistent density and eliminating the imperfections that often plague injection-molded wheels. The result is a smoother, faster, and more predictable ride from the very first session.
What makes this version of the Royal Assassin unique is its UV-reactive particles in the urethane. Charge the wheels under sunlight or any bright light source, and they will glow for about 30 minutes. Under rink blacklights, the glow effect is even more intense, creating a head-turning visual that adds excitement to every skate. It is performance paired with style, making your skating unforgettable.
The Royal Assassin features a 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum hub. Engineered for strength and precision, the hub provides a flawless bearing seat, maximizing roll efficiency and power transfer.
Through advanced machining, excess weight is removed while retaining strength. The result is a hub that is exceptionally light yet incredibly strong, ensuring responsiveness and agility without compromising durability.
The shape of the Royal Assassin Wheel, especially the lip, was developed with input from elite skaters who know what performance feels like. The wide profile provides stability, while the unique double-cut groove design virtually eliminates break-in time. From your first lap, you will notice the wheels feel fast, controlled, and ready for competition or long sessions.
If you are unsure which setup is right for you, we recommend starting with the 63mm, 96A wheel. This is by far our most popular configuration for indoor skating and works well on most surfaces.
Wheel Size Guide
59mm – Best for roller derby
63mm – Ideal for speed, jam, and dance skating
68–70mm – Great for fast skating and general session skating
Wheel Hardness Guide
92A – For rough or slippery indoor floors, or if you want extra grip
96A – The best all-round option for most indoor surfaces
98A – Very hard, perfect for skaters who want more roll and a touch of slide
Every Royal Assassin Wheel is handcrafted, making each set truly unique. Because of this artisanal process and the use of premium Corey urethane, natural variations may occur. These are not defects, but proof of the wheel’s authenticity.
Here is what you may notice:
Air Bubbles: Small, harmless bubbles may appear in the urethane. We carefully control the process to ensure they are minimal and never affect performance.
Streaks: Subtle streaks may be visible on the wheel face, giving a unique finish.
Slight Hub Scratches: The hubs are sandblasted and primed before pouring, which can occasionally leave tiny marks.
Grooves: Each wheel is hand-buffed, meaning every set has its own slightly different groove finish that speeds up the break-in period.
Natural-colored urethane may yellow slightly over time, especially when exposed to sunlight. The lip of the wheel may appear more yellow than the rest, which is a normal result of the manufacturing process. These variations add to the authenticity and individuality of your Royal Assassin wheels. Wheels with UV will have visible UV particles in the urethane.

Q: How do I make the wheels glow?
A: Charge them under sunlight or any intense light for about 30 minutes of glow. Under blacklight at the rink, the glow effect is even stronger and continuous.
Q: Are these wheels just for show, or do they perform like the regular Royal Assassins?
A: They perform exactly like the regular Royal Assassin wheels. You get the same Corey urethane performance with the added UV glow effect.
Q: What size should I choose if I am new to indoor skating?
A: The 63mm, 96A option is the most popular choice for indoor skating. It works well across most floors and skating styles.
These high-performance wheels are not designed for drag-to-stop use. Flat spotting from excessive dragging or hub damage from incorrect bearing installation is not covered under warranty. Flat spotting is a characteristic of urethane under excessive friction and can occur on all roller skate wheels.
