How to measure your feet

Skate boots are not like your average shoe. For maximum control, your boots need to fit like a second skin. That is why Bont boot sizing is NOT the same as your US shoe size or other skate brand sizing.

Wear the type of socks you’ll wear with your boots. Distribute weight evenly before measuring.

STEP 1

On a hard surface, tape a piece of blank paper to the floor. Stand up straight with your foot on the paper. Your heel should be barely touching the wall or not at all. DO NOT push heel into the wall as it will produce incorrect length measurements.

STEP 2

Mark the longest part of your foot (heel-to-toe length) and widest part of your foot on the paper with a pen or pencil. If your heel is away from the wall trace around your whole foot. Make sure your pen is held vertically, not at an angle. Repeat with the other foot, as the right and left foot may be different sizes.

STEP 3

Use a ruler to measure the heel-to-toe length and width measurement for each foot. Take these measurements and input them into the size calculator or compare them to the size chart below.

The Kids Quad Racer Carbon speed skate features a leather outer skin, Suede-L liner, and a carbon base. The unmatched performance of a heat-moldable lightweight quad boot with all the modern advancements in boot technology such as the use of carbon fiber, heat-moldable resins, and new layup techniques. The Australian leather is extremely supple and the skates feel like you are wearing slippers, they are that comfy.

This retro-styled boot is an upgraded version of the famous Bont boot that dominated the roller skating world championships in the late '80s and early '90s before inline skates took over. This model has been fully upgraded with lightweight carbon fiber. The boot is lighter and stronger than the boots from the last century. Bont is famous for carbon skates and the Quad Racer Speed Skate is a timeless classic.

Technology - Upper

The Bont Upper, the upper section of the boot, is lightweight, glued and sewn onto the boot. We punch holes by hand through the Upper and the Liner for ventilation. Buckles and straps are attached to ensure your foot is pulled down and pushed to the back. Finally, we clean the excess glue off, and the boot is ready for skating. To be deemed ready for action, the boot is required to pass sixteen stages of independent quality control. As a result, we provide you with the best strength to weight ratio on the market.
