They give a smooth roll and suck up the rough bits and stay stable. There are hundreds of other soft (78A) wheels out there you can ride. But if you want the best, get these.

Glide Roller Skate Outdoor Wheels

These wheels are the perfect size and durometer for the outdoor rink, street (asphalt) and rougher concrete. They are smooth and fast, but a tad too "grippy" on the slickness of the rink's surface. They are perfect for a beginner on the outdoor rink, as they provide the much-needed stability. Basically, a great stepping stone to harder, slicker wheels - once confidence and skill have increased. Great quality that you would expect from Bont. Do your research on wheels ahead of time, though. Bont charges you for returns!!

I also used them indoors and found that they were fine for skating, although not as good as a dedicated indoor wheel. The wheels feel high quality and have a good grip. The chevron pattern is simple but elegant.
